Personally, I believe in some so called "conspiracy-theories". Others, I do not.

Oh thats cool. howudodat?  :o  I say fuck no. My great grandpa (the smart one) used to go off about that shit. He also said the weather got messed up whenever they shot anything off from cape canaveral. I say if we did it then why haven't we done it since with high res color video? If you ask me it was all cold war politics. Just my opinion...
Q: What is the difference between a nigger and a picnic table?

A: A picnic table can support a family.

Doing something that astounding and having no desire to replicate it seems very odd to me.

According to the Associated Press, the President’s latest 2011 budget proposal axes the mission to return to the moon in favor of new NASA priorities.

I didn't vote because I am not completely sure.  The main reason I believe it is a farce is because of the Van Allen belts of radiation that protect the planet from high doses of radiation that the sun emits.  Is it possible to traverse these belts without receiving your lethal 500-1000 rads yes, is it probable no. From my understanding that aside from the Apollo missions there has never been a successful retrieval of a live animal besides micro organisms from outer space.  Unless there is some kind of technology that exists that can control magnetic waves, I do not see it being feasible that NASA would risk its astronauts in something that is so much left to whim and chance as this.

If I have seen further it is only by standing on the shoulders of giants.

One way or the other... Keep your Shit-filter in operating order, brothers. The Apollo missions are of little significance to our cause.

My real point here was in regard to those with "open eyes" and their tendency to "buy" all "conspiracy-theories". For instance, what are your thoughts on the latest and greatest "infamous" Wikileaks news outlet? Just because someone appears to be "fringe" doesn't mean they are on our side...

Objective thought is your friend.

BTW, I voted for men walking on the moon.  :'(

I would not say I believe all of the conspiracies but there are many things that happen that I do not believe the official accounting of the issues.  Like the TWA-800, 9/11 and many others.  There are just too many facts not in evidence that would have to apply for these accounts to go exactly the way they tell us they did.  As far as Wikileaks I think the whole spiel is a farse, I do not believe the DOD is behind these leaks but I do believe there are some elements in our government that are using assets to release information that shows our military expeditions in a bad light.  Whether this is a CIA, NSA or some other agencies power grab I could not say since all of that shit is, as they say "above my pay grade".  I just feel that if the government felt a real threat from the releasing of these documents, they would not send the FBI after who they thought was responsible.  This government has quite a few assets that would not arrest this person but simple make him disappear.
